HOOPER — Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help to identify the source of gunshots reported in the area of 5100 South and 4500 West on Friday night.
Several shots were reported fired at about 10:30 p.m., but Weber County Sheriff’s Office deputies did not find any evidence of a shooting, according to a news release.
The sheriff’s office asked residents of the area to check their home security video footage for anything that would help in the investigation. Those with relevant footage are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 801-395-8221.
Efforts to contact the sheriff’s office for an update on the case were not immediately successful Monday.
