    Introduction No Need of Passport or Ticket: UAE Launches New Biometric Service

    In order to offer passengers better and more convenient services, the UAE government has implemented a biometric service at Abu Dhabi International Airport. As a result, travelers won’t need a passport or a ticket. The boarding pass will be a picture of his or her face. In other words, travelers at the airport can use their faces to get boarding pass or boarding permits. The facial recognition services will first be introduced at a few self-service luggage touchpoints, immigration e-gates, and boarding gates before being implemented at all airport passenger touchpoints.

    No Passport, No Ticket: The UAE has launched a biometric service at the Abu Dhabi airport to give travelers better and more convenient services.     When the work is done, Abu Dhabi will be the first airport in the world to use biometric travel at every touchpoint, giving visitors a secure and seamless journey. According to sources, the system will use sophisticated biometric cameras to confirm traveler information at a number of airport touchpoints, including self-service luggage drop, passport control, business class lounges, and boarding gates.

    Advanced AI Technology 

    The tech company NEXT50, based in Abu Dhabi, is the creator of this cutting-edge AI technology. At the airport in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the business will unveil its cutting-edge AI solutions alongside its international partners IDEMIA and SITA in the field of technological solutions.

    The new technology will improve the passenger experience and make Midfield Terminal Building the world’s first international airport with biometric capabilities at every point of contact with the public. 

    According to reports, when the project is finished, Abu Dhabi Airport will be the only airport in the area with biometric solutions integrated across all customer touchpoints, furthering the airport’s goal of becoming the operator of the most technologically advanced airport in the world, offering a seamless experience to all of its passengers. We are pleased to collaborate with IDEMIA and SITA and to contribute our knowledge of data sciences and artificial intelligence to the realization of this effort. From “curb to gate,” the system will provide travelers with a practical, straightforward, frictionless, and hygienic experience. Passengers will experience shorter wait times and spend less time queuing as a result.

    According to Ibrahim Al Mannai, CEO of NEXT50, the biometrics initiative is a part of the emirate’s ambition for digital transformation. The largest airport operator in the world, Abu Dhabi Airport will be the first airport in the area to have biometric solutions installed at all customer touch points once the project is fully realized, he continued. will support the goal of becoming.
